This cabin is delightful: a small one-room cabin with a very small kitchen (with spring water for washing), dining bar and a double bed. Magpie Hut is thoughtfully rustic, with a wood stove for heating, kerosene lanterns/flashlights for lighting, and spiffy outhouse bathrooms (composting toilets). Magpie’s great covered deck offers stunning views of Trail Creek’s valley and Emigrant Peak. A sweet and cozy nest, and with all the Trail Creek amenities: full use of the Buffalo Jump Lodge; guest passes to Chico Hot Springs; and our complimentary buffet breakfast.
Magpie Hut rents for $60 per night, sleeps 1-2 persons.
