Our Lodge should be called the “Buffalo Commons:” it’s where you as our guest meet and greet us and our other guests; where you can lounge about enjoying the coolness on a hot summer’s day, or absorb the woodstove fire’s warmth on a rainy evening; and where you’ll enjoy our buffet breakfast each morning, and learn from our library about area history, attractions, and nature. It’s open and welcoming, from 8AM til 10PM every day. The facilities are delightfully simple: a large, rustic great-room cabin with a cushy couch and chairs, long dining table, and simple kitchen with water, gas stove, and ice box.… pioneering perfection..
