Although we are no longer a business, we, the McAllisters, loved hosting guests to our Trail Creek Camp. We wanted to keep this information available to you to know about us.
Colin grew up outside of London (with a photograph of a buffalo on his boyhood wall); Susan in the eastern Sierras of California. We met, married, and lived in Minnesota for many years, raised our 2 children (almost baked) along with many pets (unbakeable); traveled as much as we could; lived in England for a few years (another long story); moved to Montana in 2003 (Susan teaches at MSU, Bozeman); and started building Trail Creek Camp in the summer of 2004. It's been an act of love... and perseverance, determination, and true stubborness... and all by Colin's hands (you'll see - we walk into Trail Creek Camp - no vehicle accessibility).
Thus, despite the winter snow, the spring thaw, the summer forest fires, and the autumnal surprises: we love Montana, and consider ourselves so lucky to be able to partake of its wonders.
